“Bismillah Rahman Rahim – God, you are God Almighty”

We at the Libyan International Medical University congratulate the Libyan people as they capture Tripoli. The collapse of the reign of tyranny, slavery and corruption will be over soon, thanks to the courageous wrestling by our young people to liberate this nation.

Due to the peoples’ revolution, we have recovered the true dignity of this nation. The blood of the martyrs of our motherland has achieved for us a victory. The remarkable sacrifice and redemption stress the fact that good will always triumph over evil.

LIMU, its students, faculty members and employees who all sided with the revolution of 17th February since its inception wish to congratulate everyone as we move towards a stable political future. We reconfirm the statement that we issued on 22nd February and was part of mobilizing this political change. We call all Libyans to further adherence to respecting the National Transitional Council and reject regional and tribal boundary. Instead, advocating for a peaceful restructuring of State institutions and exercising our democratic right. We encourage all Libyans towards national reconciliation and call for any attempts at sabotaging this process to be halted. Instead, an adherence to a strong work ethic as well as restoring what was destroyed can be achieved as we develop and progress in science and hard work.

Long live the revolution of February 17.

Glory, dignity and immortality for all righteous martyrs.

Long live a free and independent Libya.
